This week at Patches of Pink, our theme is Valentine’s Day! I created this cute treat box for my husband’s Valentine’s Day gift and I had so much fun making it.
This treat box was cut from the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge at 10.5″.
I used two pieces of acetate that I saved from a Cricut cartridge casing to line the windows and they worked perfectly.
The tag is also cut from the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge at 2″ and stamped with K Andrew’s Coffee and Tea Treats Tag Along Stamp Set.
I threaded some twine through a large, gingham button, tied a bow and adhered it to the door to create a wreath. I also added a crystal gemstone to create a doorknob.
The door, the window boxes and the flowers are all popped up on foam for added dimension.
Finally, I used the Martha Stewart Monach Butterfly Punch to create some butterflies and accented them with Stickles.
And here is the treat box filled with my husband’s current favorite snack, Shredded Wheat. He loved it!
This project has also been entered into the Make Me Monday: Hearts and Flowers Challenge, The Paper Playtime – Hearts or Love Theme Challenge, The Kraft Journal’s: Make It Monday Color Me Red Challenge, My Craft Spot’s – Girly Girl Projects Challenge, Exploring Cricut’s – It’s So Sweet Challenge, Die Cuttin’ Divas – Color Challenge, More Than Favors – Love Challenge, Simon Says – Tag It Challenge, and My Sheri Craft’s – Love is in the Air Challenge.
