This week, I’m the featured guest designer for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog’s Challenge #61 – Blue Skies! The challenge was to create a project with the color blue and at least one cloud shape. I was really excited about this prompt because I love to create scene layouts.
This is a standard 12″x12″ double page scrapbook layout featuring three 4″x4″ photo mats and one 4″x6″ photo mat. I used the Martha Stewart Vintage Floral Around the Page Punch Set to create a doily frame and adhered it to an orange cardstock background. All of the paper used in this layout is from the My Mind’s Eye “Where the Heart Is” paper stack. The title was cut from the American Alphabet Cricut cartridge at 2″ and 2.5″ respectively. The sun was cut from the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge at 3″, and the clouds and bird were cut from the Serenade Cricut cartridge at 2″. The tree was cut from the Serenade cartridge at 8″, and the house was cut from the Sugar and Spice cartridge at 5.5″. Both layers of grass were cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge at 2.25″, layered and trimmed to fit. The second tree was cut from the Serenade cartridge at 8.5″. The owl, nest, kite and wagon were all cut from the Sugar and Spice cartridge at 1.75″, .75″, 3.5″ and 1.75″ respectively. The small grass tufts were cut from the Create a Critter cartridge at 1.5″ and 1.75″. All cuts were inked and popped up on foam for added dimension. Products used:

Martha Steward Around the Page Punch Set – Vintage Floral
